COLOR INSTRUCTIONS - RUBBER PARTS - SCREWS, SPRINGS AND RUBBER HOSES

The Cagiva Elefant was born in the early 1980s as an enduro motorcycle characterized by medium-small displacement engines. Gradually, following the acquisition by Cagiva of Ducati, the commercial line evolves, the bike is redesigned and begins to adopt, since 1985, more powerful and performing twin-cylinder engines by participating in international sports competitions. The Cagiva Elefant which participated, in direct competition with German and Japanese motorcycles, in the prestigious Paris-Dakar "off-road" competition in 1987 was characterized by the large fairing that covered the steel tube and light alloy trellis frame. The air-cooled twin-cylinder engine guaranteed a power of 80 HP at 8500 rpm and allowed the Italian bike to reach the maximum speed, on dirt roads, of 185 km / h. All the details were those of a "typical" Saharan configuration that characterized the design such as the protective fairing, the Ohlins off-road shock absorbers and the low front fender.
